The JNTU-K authorities on Tuesday signed an MoU with Tetrasoft Inc of US to form a Digital Excellence at Incubation Center of JNTU-K. The MoU has been exchanged between Prof VV Subba Rao, Registrar, JNTU-K and Tetrasoft Inc CTO Surya Thammiraju.

According to JNTU-K authorities, this partnership will help in addressing the skill gap in making the students industry ready and also nurture innovation and entrepreneurship in the students who have a passion for innovation. This Digital Excellence Center will focus on four areas-- Automation and Develops, big data and Analytics, Cloud Integration and mobility and business process, management platforms.

Prof JVR Murthy, director, Incubation Center coordinated the programme and said that Tetrasoft partnership will be a win-win to both JNTU-K and Tetrasoft as it would work to benefit the students sharpen their skill and industry exposure.

In-charge Vice-Chancellor Prof S Ramakrishna Rao highlighted that Digital Excellence Center at JNTU-K will significantly help the students in sharpening their technology skills in latest digital areas.

The V-C said that joint collaboration will accelerate the readiness of students to global industry needs and make students globally employable. This association will provide Tetrasoft and other IT companies access to strong talent pool, the V-C felt. Prof K Purnanandam, Rector, directors, vice-principal, Srirama Evani, chief operating officer, Tetrasoft, HoDs, faculty were present in the programme.
